My combination printer/scanner died today. It just went dead, with no signs of life whatsoever. There were hints that something might be wrong with it, but I didn't expect it to bite the dust so quickly and so completely.
This is a pretty bad thing for a writer/artist. And my daughter has college papers to print up, too. 
I was going to work on some illustrations tonight, but not after this. It's been one of those days. Hopefully we can manage to get toner for our Dell printer, but it only works with the notebook computer. Hopefully we can get a new scanner next week.
I have a love-hate relationship with electronics. I love when they work, but hate when they don't.
