My flash story "Walking Between the Rain" was today's tale on Every Day Fiction.

This is my first sale to EDF, and I'm glad I finally made that market.

I'm not sure I've yet grasped the complexities of writing flash, but I'm working on it. I think this story was a move in the right direction.

Also, though he's not named, this is the first published piece featuring my John Dee character (who is scheduled to appear in the Carnivah House anthology, "The Infinity Swords").

Congrats!

Pretty good story, although it did leave me wanting more.;) It certainly develops interest in the character.

That's a well done story. I would have liked to learn more, but it's complete as it is. Dark, too.

Geez! Congratulate a guy on his own blog; then again at where his story is published - and he just don't get enough of the praise, he's got to come post it over here, too!

So I'll say it again: CONGRATS TY!

(and way to plug the other sale and the Carnivah House antho, too!)

If I ever sell a Belgad flash piece to EDF, then I can mention RotS, too!

Hmm, maybe there's an idea in that ...

Okay, finally got around to reading it...here's what I posted at EDF:
Wow, some eerie writing - bordering on the scary, which, as others have mentioned, might be better served in a longer short story. Still, kept me engaged till the end. Didn't picture the protag as a sorcerer however. To me the characters knew each other in a 'previous' life - or at least the man knew the woman - so someone's not coming clean about their identity. That left me a little confused, but if this is an installment in a series of stories, then it will make quite good reading! Congrats.
