| Posted By : crystalwizard - 7/2/2008 9:49 AM | The August issue of Flashing Swords is only a few weeks away.
That means you only have a few weeks to order FS 10 if you were going to.
And now for the really important information. The August issue will be the last issue that Cyberwizard Productions publishes. Janrae Frank will be taking over as the new publisher as of August 1st, though some assets are being transfered to her now.
For those that don't know, Janrae has been involved with Sword and Sorcery, and the publishing industry in general, for a very long time and brings a wealth of experience to the project.
Her website is here: www.janraefrank.com/
I will remain in charge of the Marsh God webcomic until its run on the Flashing Swords website is finished. I also remain responsible to publish the special contest issue (which still doesn't have any entries, btw) that closes on Sept. 30.
Questions can be posted here, or emailed to me. |

And I'd like to welcome Janrae (with whom I also enjoy working!) to the magazine. I think FS is in for yet another great era! Visit my livejournal! http://bondo-ba.livejournal.com/

| Posted By : cussedness - 7/2/2008 3:26 PM | I am very excited about taking over Flashing Swords. Sword and Sorcery has always been my first love. I hope to continue to provide rousing entertainment for everyone and a good place to be seen. Janrae Frank I have no skeletons in my closet, they are all hanging from the yardarm.

| Posted By : crystalwizard - 7/2/2008 5:45 PM | Janrae is commited to publishing all stories, articles and so on that have paid contracts. I can't speak for how she's going to schedule things or if she's going to keep to a quarterly schedule. All I can tell you is that you have a contract and I've sent you money. Your story WILL see print in Flashing Swords. Never meddle in the affairs of a wizard unless you are soggy and hard to light!
