I read Part 4 of The Shores of Limbo by SC Bryce and found it interesting. Of course I hadn't read the preceding parts, but I was able to follow the plot and characters rather well, a sign of good writing.

Then for my second course I digested And the Wind Sang by Bradley H. Sinor, which mixed the myths of King Arthur and Merlin with the fantasy of vampires into an imaginative whole. The sad ending was a disappointment in a way, but somehow satisfying.

For dessert I choose Mightier than the Sword and sat in awe after finishing it. Bill Ward definitely knows how to write a tale and weave word magic around a reader.

I liked everything I read and saw. That's a big "compliment" from me since the genre of the magazine isn't high on my "likes list."

However, I am a fan of good writing wherever I find it.

I always want people to know when I think they have written something I've enjoyed writing, and the stories in this issue are very good.

Thank you all for a good read.
