Mike Clagett has reviewed The Complete Cossack Adventures vols. 1 - 2 by Harold Lamb. This is a collection of swashbuckling historical tales from the early pulp days. These stories were of great inspiration to REH in his writings.

Good review, and I think we all owe Mr. Jones a big thank you for saving these stories, Lamb is a terrific author.
Just noticed the second two are available for pre-order on amazon.

I've really enjoyed the Harold Lamb stories in Flashing Swords. It's good to see these stories being reprinted!

Just picked up 2 of the volumes. Nice work, HAJ - the literate world owes you a debt of gratitude. Unfortunately, uncollectable, but still there, regardless.

Mr. Beau-
I'll be buying the first two volumes, as well.
Incidentally, I seem to remember reading somewhere that you live in San Diego. If so, I hope you've come out of the fires unscathed.

Excellent. I wonder if Mike would allow us to post his review on the FS website.
