| Posted By : gwthomas21 - 5/17/2008 1:35 PM | I haven't really said anything about DW#1 because I didn't want to jinx anything. But we are in the final leg of things now so I want to tell people about the magazine. First off, this is not an attempt to resurrect RAGE m a c h i n e Publishing. It is a group of like-minded artists and writers putting together a cool collection of genre stories. Issue one features "In the Service of the All-Father" by C. J. Burch, a sword and sorcery novella (and our cover story with a great cover by MDJackson), "Red Engine" (a dark fantasy) by Bret Tallman, "Fifteen Minutes" (a suspense story) by David Bain, "Heller" (a weird western) by G. W. Thomas, "The Revenge of Cthulhu" (horror) by J. F. Gonzalez, "The Investment" (a space opera) by Joel Jenkins and "Eye, Urreal" (a fantasy) by Robert Burke Richardson plus a review and interview with Justin Gustainis about his book BLACK MAGIC WOMAN. Artwork by Samuel deGraff, M. D. Jackson, and G. W. Thomas.
Issue One on sale in June 2008. It's going to be available as an ebook through ReneBooks (Fictionwise) and as a paper magazine through Lulu. As soon as I have a copy of the cover I will build a new website with lots of details.

Is the Richardson story related to the three he had at the old Flashing Swords by any chance? billwardwriter.com |

| Posted By : gwthomas21 - 5/19/2008 1:01 PM | The website is waiting for the cover image. The Richardson story is not related to the FS ones to my knowledge. Perhaps they are set in the same world?
