This is one of the best deals I've ever come across! It works and is easy to clean and store. I may get two - one for the house and one to take camping!

Have you ever seen the one about the redneck swimmng pool. There's a picture floating the net of a fat guy in cutoffs stretched out in the back of an old Ford pickup. He's lined the bed with plastic and filled it with water.
I think he may be a relative.

That's the time in Alaska talking there. When you catch 20-30 pounds of Salmon on the way to work each morning during a run, you end up needing to preserve it, as nobody can eat that much fish. Canning is too labor intensive so smoking is the smart mans method. Same with every other critter who obliges the prepared citizen by providing dinner, they're all to big to put in the freezer, together anyway. A cold locker in the garage full of smoked caribou and smoked salmon and smoked ptarmigans can make for quite a Christmas Dinner.

I went salmon fishing once, spent about $90 and didn't catch a fish. I did eat plenty of smoked salmon and halibut while I was up there, good stuff. Didn't get to try caribou, sorry I missed it. I'd like to get back someday. I really liked it up there. Of couse I haven't spent a winter there; I'm sure that's another animal (no pun intended).
