Just finished reading Jules Verne's Paris in the Twentieth Century, written in 1863.

Something of a curiosity, in which the main interest lies in seeing how his projected 1960 Paris compares with the historical one. He gets an impressive number of trends and inventions right but, as always with such predictions, some entirely wrong. As a story, the book has a promising start but ended up disappointing me.

I've posted a full review on my blog.
