I pop in when I can during the working week day and way too often in the evenings when I am supposed to be doing other things! Regretfully, though I'd love the consistency, I cannot swing it. ~~~~~~~~~~ Jason M. Waltz Fantasy Acquisitions Editor Staffs & Starships Magazine ~~~~~~~~~~ Ever waltz with the Devil? | Posted By : Hermit - 8/1/2007 9:37 AM | By 'schedule', I mean "heads-up, I can be there (at this time in the next few days)"
I am not a scheduler myself, per se. Intrigued by the idea, but I'm pretty much a fly-by-the-seat kinda guy. I constantly write myself notes and reminders to do the multitude of projects and check-backs I'd intended. Still, I juggle so many things that I hardly notice when the ravens of dysmnemonia drop in to feast on outlying agenda.

| Posted By : carnifexpress - 10/22/2007 4:21 PM | Is anyone still doing this? I'd love to join in time-willing...

| Posted By : Firlefanz - 10/23/2007 3:05 AM | The problem with this chat interface is the fairly short idle time it allows. After a mere 10 min of idle time, it kicks participants with no easy method to rejoin. Basically, one has to restart the entire page.
That makes waiting for a like-minded spirit rather frustrating. I haven't used that chat since trying it out with HP Lovesauce that one time. - Call me Firle.

Half an hour? Unless the app is a bandwidth-sucker ( el chupaneto), of course.

| Posted By : carnifexpress - 10/23/2007 12:50 PM | Could someone suggest a night and approx. time people would be on there so we could see who is around? Just chatting with other writers is fun to me and a dose of non-reality is what I need right about now.

| Posted By : tchernabyelo - 10/31/2007 1:56 PM | Ah, but those of us over the other side of the pond woul dhave to stay up reeeeeal late then... however, frankly, it should generally go with whatever fits the largest number of people, and I'm guessing that's gonna be mid-evening in the mid-west, so to speak. | Posted By : Firlefanz - 10/31/2007 4:47 PM | Hmm.
xiaotien, hat doesn't seem right. Usually, the time difference between me and US East is 6 hours. That would put me at 5am when it's 11pm East Coast. (Right now, the time difference is only 5 hours, because of stupid daylight savings time and the different dates of switching back.) - Call me Firle.
