I seldom get e-mail notifications of new posts in threads I've posted to. I often forget to check the box on each post I make asking for one. I'd like there to be a default setting in control options for this so one didn't have to check that little box each time. Then I'd like to work. I'd be here more often with more timely comments if it worked like that.

you can subscribe to an entire forum... but I'm not sure I remember how to do this.

There's a link at the top of the forum called Subscribe to forum. To get to it, just click on the forum and don't click on any threads.

remember, if you are subscribed to a thread or a forum, and you ignore the first notice that there's a new post in the thread (or in a thread in the forum), you won't get any more notices for that thread until you visit it again.
