An absolutely gorgeous book! Stunning! $25.00 at Sam's Club, couldn't resist. "Research," I said to the wife, even after swearing before entering the dangerous building that no book would leave the store in my hand.

Ah, well, I honestly meant what I said. smurf Good thing my wife loves me yeah

The Sam's I was at didn't have this in the normal book section. They had a table in the center of one of their wider aisles and it had several oversized books like this one on it, all at $25. There was another one about battles or warfare or something like that, but this one just took my breath away. I bought it for the first half of the book, but it covers arms and armor from caveman to modern Navy SEAL. I've gotten lost in it several times already today.

I saw this in the bookstore a couple of weeks ago. Amazing illustrated guide of weaponry throughout its history. I leafed through it for some time, salivating all the while.
I didn't buy it right then, but...I will have this book.

It's on my list of must haves. I just ordered a new book on armor.
