Twenty battles are covered in about 220 pages, all of it easily digestable. Clash of Steel Magazine Fantasy Book Reviewer |

| Posted By : Frank - 10/8/2006 9:16 PM | No! Don't make me go there right now, I'm broke...
Over the last fifteen years I've never walked out of a B&N for less than $60 and more often it's $100-$200. |

| Posted By : von Darkmoor - 10/9/2006 1:06 AM | I think I paid $14.99 for this - I haven't finished it yet, but I like it. An enjoyable read and easy to set down and pick up and start in again at will. Definitely a decent, if not in depth, reference work. ------------------------------------------------------- J Waltz ~ Read My Reviews @ www.vondarkmoor.blogspot.com ~ Take The Challenge @ www.finepoll.com/display-poll~poll~124.htm |

I love osprey style maps and diagrams, they really bring battles to life, invaluable for a writer who doesn't have a degree from West Point! |

I already do that with every book I buy because I claim to be gathering inventory for a book selling business that may or may not happen in the next five years, which is how long they will let you legally claim expenses toward a planned business. |

Go buy it - right it off - and let me read it.
I'm about a third of the way through "Something Wicked This Way Comes" that you gave me today.

Or is just ho-hum?
I'll tell ya what: if you like it you can keep it. If you think it sucks bring it back to add to inventory pile. |

| Posted By : carnifexpress - 10/9/2006 8:52 PM | No, I like it... I'm not in love with it but I like the characters so far and I will probably finish it by tomorrow night, hand it back to you at dinner, and promptly critique it, lol.

Armand Rosamilia Yes, DON'T join the Military Book Club if you value your wallet. I have more 'research' material than I can shake a stick at. Administrator: Community Forums of CPI's Official Site of Conan the Barbarian

Cool! I made the mistake of setting mine down and now it's buried on the desk and I've read about 6 other books since I started it. I'll get back to it, though, and I know exactly which pile it's in if I need it.
