I sent a 2,000 word story about a woman who steals time from her office, literally. It sounds like an interesting anthology--lots of different takes possible from the theme.

I was working on a story about a woman who falls through a rosebush into another realm. Then I hit a snag, a HUGE snag, and wasn't able to finish it in time. I wish you all luck as I dish out jealous glares. :o)

I am a bit worried my piece might be too long...I don't know anything about the press that is making this antho but they seem kinda new and therefore unlikely to take many long pieces...

They are open to novella length stuff though, so I'd guess they can't be too averse to long pieces.

I sent in a story about parasitic gnomes that invade your colon. It's called "Where the Sun Don't Shine." I've had a hard time placing this one, with a couple close calls. This market seemed like a good fit. I certainly hope so. cool

I got a reject a few weeks ago.  After rereading the story, I don't blame them. :)

I sent them something months ago, but have yet to hear back. Not sure I'll make it, as the story I sent only vaguely fit their theme, and then in an odd/quirky way. But sometimes editors like something that's different.

well apparently everybody who didn't get rejected yet is in the final pool
from their website
" 5/29/08 Update: If you have not received a response by June first, that means your story has made it to the final round of selections. We have a small pool of excellent stories, but the space we have to fill is finite. We have some tough decisions to make. You'll be hearing from us shortly."

I'm scared out of my skull that I'll get rejected now...or that my story got lost and I'll never hear from them again...or the rejection didn't get to my mailbox...grrr the suspense is killing me
