Strange Worlds Of Lunacy, The Galaxy's Silliest Anthology

Published by CyberAliens Press an imprint of Cyberwizard Productions

Reviewed by Sherry Hooker

Strange Worlds of Lunacy is not only the silliest, wackiest, zaniest... ah... you get the idea. It's downright hilarious reading. There's a little bit of something for everyone who likes zany; cartoons, artwork, poetry, and yes... stories.

The assembled pages are like futuristic scripts written for Saturday Night Live, Fractured Fairy Tales, and Monty Python's Flying Circus all rolled into one fantastic little book. this compilation of short stories is perfect for the busy person who likes to read, but hasn't the time. You can finish a few stories in no time and be thoroughly entertained, but be forewarned, you may find it hard to put down.

Some of the stories are; Princess Lily's Wedding (a marriage to a frog prince), One Paradox and a Funeral ( You'll be asking, "Am I my own grandpa?"), The Foolish Apprentice (he learned too well), and Billy steadman, the Dragon and the Virgin (a western with a dragon and a twist), just to name a few. And you'll have to read the anthology to find out how humankind was saved by Coca Cola and Windows 2634.

Strange Worlds of Lunacy is great fun. The stories are quick reads that will tickle your funny bone. Your family and co-workers may even catch you chuckling at odd moments.

Thank you, Sherry! Nice review!

Proof That Lunacy Can Be Fun
By Sherry D. Hooker

If you like Science Fiction and/or Fractured Fairy Tales, you'll enjoy Strange Worlds Of Lunacy. The anthology is interspersed with artwork, cartoons, limericks, and other rhymes.

Stories such as Princess Lily's Wedding, by Robert J. Santa (a different take on the frog that gets kissed and becomes a handsome prince), are old tales told in hysterical new ways. One Paradox And A Funeral, by Colin P. Davies, will have you asking, "Am I my own grandpa?" And Instant Water, by Crystalwizard, may have you looking at that foolish idea your better half has, with a little less skepticism.

One of my favorite stories is- Billy Steadman, The Dragon, and The Virgin Bride, by Dal Merlin Jeanis. It's a typical western with a would-be thief, a banker, a mail-order bride, and a city dude on a stagecoach loaded with the bankers gold. Of course, we know the would-be thief (Billy Steadman) wants the gold and is not opposed to getting the girl, too. Ergo, Strange Worlds Of Lunacy plops down a, not so typical, dragon... right in the middle of the story. The plot thickens and the outcome is unexpected.

Tom Wallace's cartoon- Project Invasion- will leave you smiling. All-in-all, Strange Worlds Of Lunacy is a good read you can take in bite-size chunks and still feel satisfied.
