I'm The Griot. I'm a long time science fiction and fantasy fan, as well as a new publisher writer. I decided to combine my desire to write and to have a business into one endevor. I write science fiction and fantasy which I plan to sell locally in the ATL and on my website, www.mvmediaatl.com. I may eventually go the traditional route, but I'm 47  with more years behind me that ahead of me and, dammit, I'm in a hurry! Check out my writing on my site and my blog and tell me what you think. Great to be here!

Welcome! Mm, mvmediaatl.com really trips off the tongue. smilewinkgrin

"The ATL" is Atlanta? I'm terminally unhip and soul-challenged.

The "Undercurrents" story on your site was a great read!

Hi right back. Don't sweat the 47 part; there's a lot of us around here with baby powder in our beards.

Anyone who wants to work in the tradition of Charles Saunders is all right by me.

Very cool that you got him to write an intro for you!

Hey Griot, welcome aboard! And I have to echo the don't sweat the age thing mentioned above. Also, love the cover art of the novel.

You might want to try the traditional route with a short or two - it won't take you all that long, and the submission (and often rejection) process has its own strange satisfactions - and the feeling of making a sale is... indescribable.

There's a hair colour just for that, you know.  So a 47 year old could look, well, 37 instead!

Anyway, hello The Griot!
