Hello, all! I happened to find this forum while googling around for some other things - it looks great!

I've been into sci-fi (and some fantasy) since I was a kid - that would be a surprisingly long time ago, now, unfortunately! - and have finally started making some time to get back into it a little beyond work, two rambunctious boys, a pair of Siberian cats, and a partridge in a pear tree!

So thanks for having this forum available, and I hope to get to know y'all better! :)

Cheers,
Mike

Hello MR! Welcome to the SFReader forums.

It's amazing what you can find when you Google around. I actually found this place by Googling, just like you.

Cheers!

thanks everyone! and i did as crystalwizard said and added my info to the published authors thread. i have to spend some more time on there and see what everyone else is doing - i'd like to read more of lesser/unknown authors and not just stick to what seems to have become my "daily dozen"!

thanks!

Hi, Mike, welcome aboard. I'm relatively new here, too, and have already fallen in love with Gustavo's avatar.

I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.

GL -

haha! okay, i'll concede that Gustavo's avatar has a high cool factor, but i'll stick with sword-wielding female aliens! LOL

the sword's nuthin', thirdy - you can't see them in the picture, but kreelan warriors have claws, too! ouch!

but if you're still interested, wait a few hundred years, then dial "867-5309"... ;-)

Welcome as well. I think I said this elsewhere, but you've got a great looking jacket for your book. How are sales going? Any new projects in the works?

oy! i didn't realize so much time has gone by since i was last on here!

i've been working on some (hopefully!) FINAL edits on In Her Name, and also got it published on Mobipocket.com.

i decided that i'm going to unpublish the version i originally put on amazon.com, since Mobi distributes to amazon's kindle store, along with other online ebook retailers. oy!

i'm currently working on getting a dead tree version ready for publication through lightning source, but that's going to take a bit more work and digital fiddling.

in the meantime, the sales continue, although - no big surprise - at a very small trickle. but hey, considering i haven't done any real promotion yet, i can't complain!

lyn - thanks for the compliments on the cover! and steven - no, she's not a natural blue, she was dyed in photoshop... ;-)

cheers,
mike
