Taking the initiative from Daniel, I will open a folder here about the restaurant and catering industries. I have worked all aspects of restaurant work (from dishwasher to owning one) for twenty-two years. Fire away if you have a question about anything, even something mundane or trivial. I promise I have the answer.

To keep with Rob's theme, I have about 15 years in hospitality as well -- mines a bit more skippy -- mostly kitchen, catering, small to large, hotels, special events and rentals. But if you need some techie advice for a story, I can probably help you make it real. [:)]

Me too, I'm a qualified Chef. I've worked in hotels, restaurants, industrial kitchens and cafes (the UK version of diners/waffle houses). I don't work in the industry anymore but I'll answer Q's if I can.

I even have a chef story here...
