Hi there. Need some help recalling a book title. Back in the mid-80's, I read a 3 book series ( I think there were 3) in which the dinosaurs did not get wiped out by the meteor and became the dominant species against which the humans contended. There was a human hunter as the protagonist and a female dinosaur ( it was a female dominated society ) who was the antagonist. I thought I remembered Saberhagen wrote it, but I cannot locate anything under his name. Does this series ring any bells? Thanks.

I think you are asking about Harry Harrison's "Eden" trilogy. The first book was West of Eden (http://www.amazon.com/West-Eden-Harry-Harrison/dp/0553265512/ref=pd_sim_b_img_2). I really liked that one, but not so much the others.
