Yup, I was thinking about a story I wrote that was accepted for Nathan Shumate's Arkham Tales and wound up grabbing the pen and ink (something I haven't done in years - and years, and years) to sketch something out. Mind you, the story was complete, it was accepted, and Nathan didn't ask me for any artwork. Lord knows nobody has in a long time. Kinda happy with the results. I started with the figure drawing and thought I muffed the proportions until I measured them out. Particularly happy with the way the folds in the robes turned out. There's a complete fight scene between this hero and a monstah (as they say around here), but since I'm going to pitch that to gowith the story I suppose it shouldn't show up here. Waddya think?
