CW has pointed me toward you for review guidelines, as I am working on a couple for her and want to make them work for a variety of sites, including SF Reader. Can you give me some more information about what you are looking for in a review?

Hey Bryan, lovely! Have a look at the review guidelines in the main site www.sfreader.com/review_guide.asp, but in brief:
- I'm looking for some substance, so at least ~300 words or so -- this doesn't mean you can't write more (many of our reviews go up to 1200-1500 words, and that's fine) and it doesn't necessarily mean 300 is always enough -- it's just sort of a ballpark minimum that you can say anything meaningful about the book in.
- take a stance -- tell me what you think of the book.
- not too much in the way of a plot summary - a bit of description is good of course, as a teaser and may be necessary to establish what you want to talk about, but avoid spoilers at all costs
- even if you don't like the book - some people might. Make a mention of who you think the book is aimed at, and/or who you think would enjoy the book.
- the best thing of course -- go read a bunch of the reviews. we now have close to a thousand. See what you like about some, what you don't like.

Also, the space opera Space Vulture is reviewed and one of the authors, Gary K Wolf is interviewed on SFReader as well. Gary discusses his collaboration with childhood friend John Myers on the new book -- two best friends from Iowa, one who grew up to create Roger Rabbit, one who became Archbishop of Newark.
