Cool. I gotta go now, Nathan. My Evil Godless Club has a conference call, and we're going to discuss how people ought to change names like "St. Peter's Catholic Church" to "Friendly Happy All-Inclusive Social Club Where People Can Discuss God (or Not) as They Choose." I don't want to miss a chance to cast my vote -- I want the word "Gerbil" in there somewhere.

This all sounds vaugely subversive. I'm alerting Attonery General Gonzales. Or Richard Geere shocked

Tarantino himself has been forward and unapologetic about his influences. In a 1994 interview with Empire magazine, he said, "I steal from every single movie ever made. If people don't like that, then tough tills, don't go and see it, all right? I steal from everything. Great artists steal, they don't do homages."

No, no. I have his home #. We're in the Chenny Club. I'd tell you about it but the first rule of Chenny Club is: You Don't Talk About Chenny Club. I will tell you the motto we recite while naked but for domino masks:

United We Stand.

Diversified We Fall.

(acctually I was in such a hurry to get to the Richard G punchline I bungled the set up).

EdK, that's why my other half gave up singing gospel years ago. She used to tour with some pretty big names in the business, but she got disgusted at what she saw behind the scenes and at all the big money floating around. I couldn't drag her into a church nowadays with a horse and mule.

EDK,

Well said. I have always had a problem between 'Faith' and Organised Religion. Though I may disagree (being an Atheist) I respect the moral commitment that Faith is born of and destest the business so many make of it.
