Not a gripe about the site. Not a gripe about content. No, this gripe is about the fact that someone stole my name and set up a myspace acount with it last fall.

I've used this name every where on the net, and bbs's before that, for years. All my work is published under it. A large number of people know me by this name. So when they go to Myspace looking for me, guess who they're going to find? Not me ;( *fume*

I know a lot of show-biz people have had the same issue. So for their URLs they've done thereal{name}. A voice actor I like did {name}frickengenius. My has to do with my one day plans to legally change my first name to my nickname.

& what Chaos was suggesting was that you put Crystal Wizard as your display name (which can be different than the URL, can be used by more than one person, & people can use to find you).

I would LOVE to know who the guy is though and what made him decide to come up with the name. I've found him in a couple places on the net but not very many.

We get more sales from there than any other single place, so far; MySpace people are, overall, very agreeable to marketing.

We're also getting the majority of our books-to-review from there as well.

The majority of our submissions come from duotrope, followed shortly thereafter by ralan's. :)
