I just want to shamelessly encourage everyone to subscribe and enjoy the mp3 podiobook, aka audiobook! It's free. ST is deep, dark, edgy, SF with obvious cyberpunk roots. The feedback has all been positive...
However, I'll shoot myself in the foot and also encourage you to check out the number 1 podiobook, the very one that unseated ST. I just started listening to Earthcore, and I'm really digging it (NPI). But hey, I've enjoyed everything I've listened to over there, so browse around, subscribe to any of the other titles that seem interesting as well.

I wish I had broadband. About how big are the files?

At the Podiobooks standard file requirements, it works out to slightly more than 2 minutes per MB. A typical Spherical Tomi episode is between 20-30 minutes, so you're looking at 9-14MB per file. Some of the other titles' episodes run longer, so yeah, you'd probably need a broadband connection.
(this is SUCH shameless plugging now) I also released a series of comedy skits at Podiobooks.com called "Duel of the Fates"; each episode is under 5 minutes long, under 4MB apiece. They'd originally been heard on the Dragon Page Wingin' It! podcast. Mur Lafferty has also released her brilliant "Geek Fu" essays at Podiobooks, which were also first heard on DPWI! - not sure, but those might also be available in smaller file sizes.
