Hey, all -

I just wanted to give a quick update on some reviews that have come in on my sci-fi novel In Her Name. :D

Here are some excerpts from the reader reviews...

On Amazon:

"In Her Name is a superior science ficton novel, with intimate insight into its characters' thoughts and feelings, a fully realized alien culture, sweeping space battles, and fierce hand to claw combat." (4 Stars)

"In Her Name is a combination of high tech and fantasy and creates a believable universe populated with well fleshed out characters. The plot is intricate and quickly draws you in. The hero is someone you will care about and the "enemy" is not monolithic in either reactions or attitude. This is one of those books that keeps you wondering what is going to happen on the next page and is well worth anyone's time and energy." (4 Stars)

On Mobipocket.com:

"I'm not a sci-fi fan by nature, but this book for me was a real page turner. I loved the build up of suspence. Just enough info given at the right time to keep me from putting the book away for another day. Great story!" (5 Stars)

"This was an extremely well written book, plot was good, and characters were extraordinary. I really liked how he developed the character of both races!" (5 Stars)

There was also a review done by Rebecca Laney of Becky's Book Reviews (3 Stars), to which I made a few comments on my site's blog.

I'm hoping some additional reviews on a number of sites will be posted soon!

Thanks! Yeah, I've gotten great feedback from readers, and was happy even about the 3-star review by Becky. Looking at the things that she rates 4- and 5-star, most of it is fiction outside of the sci-fi/fantasy category, so I think that was largely a matter of her personal preferences (as is always the case).

But I'm keeping my fingers crossed about some other reviews that - hopefully - should be coming out soon from some other folks who focus more on "my type" of writing. :)
