Yes, here, the poem lived up to the title's promise (and I love the title).

Puts me in mind of one of Bradbury's most haunting stories, about a completely automated home that continues to cycle through its various activities, with it becoming ever-increasingly apparent that there is no longer any human life. "There Will Come Soft Rains," I believe that one was called.
