YEAH!
How great it this? IMO you are such a great example for us other writers on the board. We've known you from the first. You walked us through everything every step of the way.
This is exactly how you become a success as a writer, just exactly the way SFReader's own X became the next Stephanie Meyer. I couldn't be happier.
You put your bottom in a seat until you had a commerically viable product finished. Write edit write edit.
You shopped it around to an agent over and over again, each rejection encouraging you to send out more copies to more agents. You didn't decide to go other routes or get discouraged. You took the lumps and steamrolled along.
You got an agent.
Now you're a superstar!
You're my hero.
Congrats.

Tarantino himself has been forward and unapologetic about his influences. In a 1994 interview with Empire magazine, he said, "I steal from every single movie ever made. If people don't like that, then tough tills, don't go and see it, all right? I steal from everything. Great artists steal, they don't do homages." | | Back to Top | | |

Who would have thought the lady who started a discussion topic on words that elicit dirty thoughts would go on to become a successful YA author?
Very happy to hear this. Guess it means that I'll get to read your book all the sooner.
