Mmmm, Tales of Moreauvia issue 1 has been shipped to subscribers and I've got a story "Candles for the Dead" in there.

The Courier also put out it's first issue recently and I also had a story with them, "Year of the Monkey."

I got my paycheck from Futurismic today for a story to be published this year.

And I got my first personal rejection from Strange Horizons after two months of waiting saying they liked the writing but it was too much horror for them.

Alas, that's it for now. Peace.

Congrats on your recent publications and sales.

Strange Horizons seems to be a tough market. At least, I've found it to be a tough market. If the writing was good in your piece rejected by Strange Horizons, it should sell elsewhere.

Thanks. Yeah, Strange Horizons is good. They're hard to crack but it's worth it. And they take good care of their slush pile, which is always nice for a writer. :)

Great stuff. Some good news and a quality rejection.
