Just signed the contract today selling my fantasy short "The Second Fire" to those charming folks at Mindflights.
 
The story is about a strong-minded woman who makes life-changing choices and was written in tribute to my wife, Lynne, who was the inspiration for the piece.
 
And if that seems mushy, well, then I plead guilty.
