I just noticed Chris Cevasco's preview of Paradox: Issue 8 on his website, featuring my story Anezka. Beyond my first sale to Flashing Swords, this has to be the highlight of my rather short writing career. I hope it is well-received, especially as it's a major departure from those mean, evil, S&S stories I like to write.

For those who subscribe, I'd love to hear your comments. For those who don't, do youself a favour and get a subscription. It's well worth it.

Well, I just had to brag, with 5 stories currently under consideration, I'm sure I'll be in the Gripe forum before long. So I certainly plan to enjoy this. [8D]

Cheers,
Bruce

Bruce,
Congradulations! It's nice to see a work in actual print. I know I always get a shiver when I hold in my hands something I wrote and people can now buy. Its different with an electronic pub (no offence to e-pubs or publishers, many of whom still have chances to reject my work [:)]) But it is a different experience, more tactile and somehow more real. Plus it gives you something to put on your "My Writing" shelf and send to your loved ones.
Treasure the experience, I hope you have many more like it.
Mike
