Not sure whether you were joking or not, but "knock one out of the park" is actually a baseball reference, not basketball...

Don't worry, Robert, I was joking :) your movies are so ubiquitous that we Europeans have all learnt pretty good American by now. If Irish movies were as popular as American ones, you'd probably all know what a "hurler in the ditch" was -- (and no, it has nothing to do with throwing up ;) ).
