I just received word that the tentatively titled Freehold tale "The Coruscate King" is to be included in the Freehold novella for the Northlands. Armand, what is the official title? Is it "Freehold: Northlands" or something else?

There are a few others that frequent the board who made it, I'll let them make their own announcements, but congrats to them as well. I look forward to sharing the ToC with them.

The book is actually called "Freehold: Betrayal - Ghourlesh Book I" and will feature my opening novella and stories from Christopher Heath, Sean Steinnon, Cindy Rodania, Arran Caza, and Bruce Durham. The fun part right now is that the stories are being written and critiqued as we move forward - except for the excited Chris Heath, who blew through his first draftin record time - and you can expect a late 2007 release for the book (unless time and finances get better).

Also, the first series of Freehold books ("Monroi Pass") is nearing completion on the second and third book and will be the next releases available, as well as some Freehold novella books in the "Freehold: Beginnings" series...

Check out the first Freehold release ("Freehold: Southern Storm - Monroi Pass Book I") and our Summer's End Deal on it as well: http://www.angelfire.com/indie/freehold/deals2.html

Okay, I have it updated. I thought that "Betrayal - Ghourlesh Book I" was the name of your novella, not the entire book. Is it the title of both? Sorry for being confused.

Yes, all of the novella titles are also the name of the books. I have only so much imagination to use. Feel free to post your story in the yahoo group so everyone can critique it.

We're working on the short stories right now, doing critiques and things as a group, which is great. Chris has a very unique story that we're trying to squeeze around the perimeters od what Freehold is all about, and it should be a great one when finished.

Having read an early draft of the story, I can tell you it's going to be something special.
