Sold an essay to The Washington Post that ran in the paper on March 28. It is a meditation on the death of Addwaita the 250 year old tortoise, who died in a zoo in India. It references the poetry of Don Marquis, who created archy the cockroack, the free verse poet reincarnated into the body of a cockroach. archy claimed he met a turtle a thousand years old.
