Hey all,

I just got word last night that another Dabir and Asim tale was accepted by Black Gate! The first one will be appearing this upcoming issue. No word on when number two will appear, but I'm jazzed--it's the story of how the two characters met.

best,
Howard

Thank you all very much for your kind thoughts. I just found all my old rejection letters--most of them rightly deserved--accumulated over the last twenty years as I cleaned out the storage room in our old house today. It's still pretty exciting to see my fiction finding markets more and more frequently. I guess I wasn't what you'd call a quick study, but I was determined.

Best wishes,
Howard
