Hee! Just got notice back today that 'Law of the Tribe' didnt make the finals in Writers of the Future--which means it survived right till that last cut. Whee!!!

Came back with a nice note from KD Wentworth on the top, too--how cool is that?!

Now what am I gonna send for this quarter? Hmmm...

Whee! I lost also. Got a notice back today also, that said exactly the same thing. You got a personal note from K.D? Why you...! That's cool. Deep breath. So what did it say?

I did get a hand written note from a contest administrator that said, send more soon! Now, was that a form handwritten note, or were they really impressed? I'm thinking that they were impressed. Clutching at straws. Aren't I pitiful? [;)]

One thing I do do know is that I didn't send my best stuff. I sent something that's very good in at the very last minute, and I mean the last minute. A bad habit of mine that I mean to rectify. THIS QUARTER I'M SENDING MY BEST STUFF. Good luck, Rusty.

LOL!!! Pitiful? Hell, no, pitiful is being excited that I made it this far... So I'm pitiful, you're just paranoid.

Congrats!!! And good luck next quarter!

Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're not out to get you.
(from The Lipsig Letter (#8, Jan. 9, 1997)

Just found out from another entrant that he got the same form letter with the words, send more soon! written in blue ink.[:D]

Just because it's a form note doesn't mean that it's not sincere. Coming up with something different to say every single time is tough.
