And HEY--vote for your favorite zine! We're doing quite well and are currently tied for 8th place. Given the enthusiasm for what we're doing, I KNOW we have more votes than that! Pop in and give us a vote and at least push us up into the top 5!!!

I mean, really, the top spot right now is a PORN site! Surely we can get more votes than a porn site!!!!! People don't drop by a porn site to READ!
Vote Flashing Swords! Go! Now!!!

There also is a Flashing Swords story from Steven Shrewsbury (Jawbone of an Ass) and one by some guy named Goble (The Redemption of Calthus) on the list, too, if you think Durham needs some competition. And somebody needs to nominate a Hocking tale, don't you think? I've already voted, or I'd be putting him on the list. "By The Sword" surely will get a nod on the 2006 poll.
It's good to see Flashing Swords and Howard Andrew Jones so well represented on the poll. Go show your support. Lots of people check out the poll, and the more times they see the words "Flashing Swords," the better for us all.

Done already.
I was wondering about that porn site. I didn't see any erotica, just pictures. I think maybe they got the URL wrong or it was submitted as a joke. 'Darker Pleasures' could easily be the name of a horror magazine. All you need is to confuse ".org" with ".net" or ".com" and viola - instant porn ....
