Quick question - what differentiates your book reviews from SFReaders collection?

1. we're not part of SFReader so we don't have access to their reviews. We're just hosted on the sfreader domain.

2. The reviews I'm going to post have to fit in someway with the same theme that stories accepted by Flashing Swords fit. We have certain categories. I have the focus of providing reviews to things I think my readers will like.

Are you simply reviewing your own TOC authors?[/quote

I'm not reviewing anyone. The reviews we have now were donated to us by John. I'm happy to put up reviews from anyone as long as they are well written and the book being reviewed fits under one of the subcategories that we publish.

I guess I'm just trying to figure out what the niche is that would cause readers to want to read reviews there instead of at this site

I don't know that there is a niche other than the fact that a lot of our visitors might not even know about this site. I'm providing something extra for our visitors if they want it. Not competing with Dave.

Quick question - what differentiates your book reviews from SFReaders collection? Are you simply reviewing your own TOC authors? Just wondering. The links work, but the background bamboo colored wallpaper behind each review makes the text difficult to read. I guess I'm just trying to figure out what the niche is that would cause readers to want to read reviews there instead of at this site... Don't mean to be discouraging.

Wonderful addition.

Still unpublished. But hard at work trying...

If you go to the Flashing Swords home page
flashingswords.sfreader.com

and look on the right side menu, you'll find a new section for book reviews.

comments please.
