Just starting a discussion thread for the book so that everyone can post comments in one spot instead of scattering them in various places.

I've been reading the eBook and I'm impressed with the quality so far. If anyone is interested in the formation of my story "The Battle of Raven Kill" I've gathered up all the blog posts I've written about it as well as posting the deleted first scene. Author's commentary soon to follow.

This book is a fun read! Also, it saved my life and reversed the creeping horror of my male pattern baldness! Thanks to Return of the Sword every time I turn a page I can now flip my golden locks with restored confidence! smhair

Not exactly a review, but I am taking a look at each story in RotS on my blog, one per day. The first post is up. I have only read a few stories so far, but Bill Ward's entry kicked my butt. Looking forward to reading more tonight.

Read your review of Mike Canfield's story in Blackgate--- I agree, the man is incredible. I am fortunate to belong to a small live crit group with him, and every so often he shows up with another strange and beautiful story. We had crit yesterday, and his submission was just as odd, merciless and brilliant as always.

Nice of you to do this, Bryan. I was really impressed with The Whited Child, as well, so I'm looking forward to your opinions on RotS.

Not that I'm aware of. we only went live 2 days ago and I can't afford to buy review copies to send out till next month. We've got some .pdf files out in the hands of a few people but we could really use the help getting reviews and publicity.

Wow, thanks for the glowing review Bryan. And thanks for profiling RoTS so heavily in your blog, a story a day is really great.

I'm off to Black Gate 9 to read the Canfield story now.

I wish I could say that anyone besides us will actually read it. lol Thanks for the great story. Reading it brought me from "I should get behind this to support the FS community" to "Wow, this is F'ing awesome and I should help bring it the attention it deserves." Blogging all the stories was pretty much going to happen anyway. That's what I do.

I'm trying to restrain myself until I have finished all of the stories. Should get some reading time in at lunch.

Cheers!

I will be doing a review and sending it to you but I need my book I ordered to arrive before I do that.  It will take me a little while also as I don't want to rush through the book to meet a deadline.  Did the pre-orders ship yet?
