The book is basically a series of interviews with Moorcock discussing his work, and the first chapter, Six Days to Save the World, is one of the best primers on the art of writing a sword & sorcery novel I've ever seen. Moorcock uses examples of his work and explains in detail how he went about plotting and writing his books and also adds a lot of nifty tips. The other chapters cover different types of fiction, and I found useful information in all of them. Highly recommended. The book is out of print and a little pricy at Amazon and places like Abe Books but I found my copy cheap on Ebay.

Thanks. I'll keep an eye out for it.

best, Howard
