Sounds like an interesting lineup of fiction and interviews. Thanks for sharing the ToC.

And now that Michael has posted his announcement in the Self-promotion forum, I can let you know that his new Servant story, written just for Flashing Swords, is the surprise story for this issue.

You really want to read it. It's marvelous.

I'm really excited to be in the company of some of the best S&S writers around, and I am certainly looking forward to reading the interview with Ralan.

Mike, FS alum! Great news looking forward to this, a new Goble tale as well and the rise of FS again.

Good day all all around. Congrats to writers and editors alike for pulling this off.

Tarantino himself has been forward and unapologetic about his influences. In a 1994 interview with Empire magazine, he said, "I steal from every single movie ever made. If people don't like that, then tough tills, don't go and see it, all right? I steal from everything. Great artists steal, they don't do homages."
