With those kinds of connections, you guys are going to slaughter!

I'll try to send you guys some link love from Without Really Trying in the next few days. Are you guys keeping the same web address? What's your landing page address going to be?

Do you have a launch date?

What's the difference between a desk editor and an associate editor?

I'm so excited for you guys. I'll start whipping up a story for FS right away.

With that line up, you guys have got to be able to publish your own stuff in the magazine. You've got practically all of the best S&S guys as editors. The only one that you're missing is James Eng.

There's a second thread in this forum with that information in it. Its subject line is Website Update. Here's the link:

The desk editor is going to do the nuts and bolts editing. Stuff like marking where punctuation is incorrect, or a word is mispelled. He's the guy that gets to cover the story with red ink after it's been accepted. The associate editors can do that, but they've got enough on their plate reading submissions, deciding on acceptances and interfacing with the authors about rewrites.

Might want to wait for me to finish the submission guidelines. They're going to be very close to what they have been, but there will be a few subtle changes.

Welcome Back.  I hope the paypal link was correct because I just sent you $20.  Not much but it can pay for a paragraph or two. (-:

The Paypal link is correct :) Thank you very much for your support, it's greatly appreciated :) Thanks for the welcome back, too. Did you have a chance to look over the new website?

Checked the site out. Fun Picture but I think I would put the links to the issues more prominent.

Well, if the magazine is the Main thing your selling, I guess I would put a Larger Font Link for the Current Issue up near the top with previous issues under it then the Credits or I would put it rigth under the picture where the two other links are right now. The picture is great but if you do not know what Flashing Swords is then it feels like a place holder for a future-site which it is in a way. Just a thought.

I kind of miss the "Something in teeth" quote on the home page. I guess I am just one of those people you can't satisfy! (-:

*grin*. I'm still trying to figure out the html code to move the links apart. Sorry, got my head distracted with that and forgot I left off the image title. I'll go fix that.
