Yes, I have been out of commission for the past week or so and there are a ton of people waiting on my reply to various odds and ends. I am sorry for the maddening delays caused by my absence.

I've been pretty ill for the past 10 days, caught a nasty bug. Since I never get sick, it took me a while to realize just how bad this bug was and do what I should have done right away, which is: start taking antibiotics. So, for about 10 days I have been doing little more than sleeping, watching a few movies here and there and resting up.

I'm better now and back at my desk. I will be endeavoring to answer my massively backed-up emails, not to mention submissions and other issues.

Thank you all for your understanding and patience.

Daniel

Daniel,
I thought something was missing around here . . .
Hope you've recovered fully. You have to watch out for your health--remember Jim Henson.

Damn man! Get that guy Pitch to keep us all informed or something, Daniel! I just figured you were finally taking a vacation or some time away with the missus. Glad to hear you're up and moving again. I hope you got to at least watch some decent movies.

Thanks guys

Pitch doesn't hit the forums here for whatever reason. He's a busy guy these days, with a new post at the Illinois State Museum as well as his responsibilities for the Daybreak Press side of PB.

Since I've only been ill one week out of the last 4-5 years, I'm fairly optimistic that I won't get sidelined again by a virus anytime soon. Here's hoping anyway!

Now back to the grind!

Or maybe it's payback time for all those years of blissful health freaked...

Glad to hear you've recovered!
