I can't reach the site.
My favorites tag and the links on other sites (such as Conan.com) get a "Connection was refused" message.
Is the site being updated?
Or do we have a problem?

Houston, we have a problem. I've e-mailed Dave Felts, but if he has any sense he's in bed by now. I know he's been having server problems.

best,
Howard

Interestingly, all the data is there because I just checked the ftp log-in. Must be something else.

I run my whole show (that being SnS and 40+ other sites) of 2 servers (one web, one database) at my house over a business class internet connection. Two days ago, the hard drive in my web server went out and I had to switch everything over to run off the database server. There were some glitches in the switchover, so to do with router settings, some to do with IIS (Internet Information Settings) and still others to do with other stupid annoying computer crap.

Thought I had it all runnning, but this morning the sites were off line. IIS had shut itself down for some reason. Don't know why, but hopefully it won't do it again, as I made a few changes in the set-up to hopefully prevent it and if not prevent it allow for recovery.

Fingers crossed!
