I know I may be one of the few fans of this comic book series but I have never hidden the fact. I'm re-reading all 50 issues now and enjoying them. I really like the way Roy Thomas worked all the history and folklore into the stories. I think that is an achievement that he does not get enough credit for. The series was dismissed as "Conan the Indian" but that is ignoring how much research and depth the background has. The style is certainly Conan-esque but so what? Good stuff.

Have you seen the animated film? I saw the first five minutes. I was kind of intrigued but not enough to watch the other 85 minutes.

I didn't know there was a film. I hope it doesn't suck too much, because the comic was more than okay.
