Besides... I've never seen a bird yet that could take down a bus :P

And who's going to be the first to use Troy Polamalu as the inspiration for a S&S hero? [;)]

But if I had to put a dollar on it, Seahawks by 1.

15 years of football coaching experience here--I know these things.
Polamalu with have a tough game today, won't be as big a factor as he was in the playoff games. Seattle will hold out the Steeler blitz. But, the Seahawks don't have the manpower to stop the Steeler running game. The Steelers surprised their playoff opponents with an unexpected passing attack, but today they will be grinding it out on the ground. It's gonna be a good game.
Look for the Steelers to pass short on first down and run on second and third. Cower will run the ball on 4th down every time he's inside the Seahawk 50 and outside field goal range today, and he'll get the first down too.
The take away ratio will also be a deciding factor. I say the Seahawks will give the ball up in critical situations at least twice today.
Now, how's that for sticking my neck out.

The Stones sounded horrible.

My wife kept turning the Stones off and I kept making her turn it back on again. It's history, sort of like having an appreciation for old battlefields. It's not so much what they are so much as what they were.
(You're right, though. They were pretty bad. Like Bettis, their bus should stop in Detroit.)

Boy did they ever. Personally, I turned the TV on mute and played some songs (not the Stones) off my computer during halftime.

Besides there is something wrong with a world that thinks of the Stones as being a safe family act for the Super Bowl. But I guess in today's world old Mick is pretty tame--unless you count seeing his belly button as a wardrobe malfunction.
