Jeff Stehman said...My wife has read them all, finishing the last one a few weeks ago. Instead of returning it to the library, she reordered the rest of them and read the whole series again. She's read me more passages from these books than any others--and that's saying something. Doesn't really sound like my cup of tea, however.
I do the same thing with my husband when it comes to the Jim Butcher "Harry Dresden" novels. I will fall off the sofa laughing at a certain passage, so he will ask me what's up. But when I read it to him, he just stares at me like "What's wrong with her?" The humor completely escapes him. Guess he'll have to read them himself to see what I see. Or maybe not.
I never thought about reading him the Charlaine Harris novels...which are so hillarious they also make me laugh out loud. I'll have to try that, and see what he says.
