Hello all,

I decided to give you lovely folks at SFReader a heads-up here, as you've done a lot of promo and linkage for us so far and it's my way of saying thanks!

Next month we'll be announcing a new anthology for Morrigan Books, which is to be dark Celtic in theme.

Katherine Kerr and Elaine Cunningham have been commissioned to write for the book, which should give you an idea of how big it will be!

We are going to be upping our pay grade to semi-pro $.01 per word and each story will be between 2,000 and 6,000 words in length. We may accept flash too but more on that nearer the time.

The book is to be called 'The Phantom Queen Awakes' and most of the stories will feature our namesake in some way.

Keep an eye on the website for more news!

How long is a piece of string?

I appreciate the question but it is hard to answer until having seen the story and then being able to say not dark enough or just right.

As long as it's a dark theme and well written I'm pretty easy (and for the record comedies are not really my thing).
