Special Call for SF Novelllas

Pitch-Black LLC is actively seeking:

Speculative fiction novellas and novelettes: strong preference for sword and sorcery, heroic fantasy, space opera, RPG-inspired fantasy, sword and planet, science-fiction, less interested in horror. Not seeking stories of negation or despair. New writers and established pros equally welcome. Actively seeking new writers.  Looking for individual print books and e-bboks. Submissions also considered for trade-anthologies and Flashing Swords E-zine.

Novelettes: Eight-thousand to eighteen-thousand words. (8-18k).
Novellas: Eighteen-thousand to thirty-thousand words. (18-30k).

Submissions by email *only* -- send to:

William Ward, Associate Editor

Pays: By negotiation. 1-8 cents a words flat fee or shared royalty on electronic and print titles. Buys first world print and electronic rights. Reprints considered at NO pay. Simultaneous submissions OK if notified. Multiple submissions by Pitch-Black Supporters only.

Allow 1-12 weeks for a response.
