I am experimenting with a slogan to plaster on the normal stuff such as t-shirts, mugs, etc... to promote my book, Lucian's Place. I have opened a cafe press account at www.cafepress.com/luciansplace to test the waters. Thoughts? Comments Too Gaudy? How far to go to sell a book? By the way, Fanny is a self-aware computer in my book. For more details check out my web site at www.bellesmith.com .

I like it. It certainly is an attention grabber. Sounds like the perfect opportunity for someone to ask you "what does the shirt mean?"

That'll sort of take the slogan in a different direction. On a related note, that's why folks from the UK/Ireland always seem to get an embarassed expression on their face when they hear us Yanks refer to "fanny packs" . . .

For what it's worth, I think that's a brilliant bit of marketing. It's very attention getting and ties in directly to your story.

I think I am going to push ahead with "Is your Fanny self-aware?" and see where it goes. Hopefully, I do not offend anyone! Of course "they" say bad publicity is better than no publicity. [:)]
