Hello can you help name this book, not a lot to go on with.Read in the last twenty years, think more the beginning of the twenty.
When i was going through my cyberpunk phase. All i can remember is the name Shiloah (or something similar),think this was the name of a planet or a race of aliens.
Also it involved soldiers back from fighting on another planet.
Would assume drugs and mirrored shades, as every cyberpunk novel has some.
Also read in Britain so must have had a UK publisher.
Any ideas would be apprechiated.

Ken Bulmer, writing as Tully Zetford. Hook: Virility Gene.

Ryder Hook, arrives on a planet that is home to the Virility Gene, a drug that increases sexual pleasure.
The planet is ruled over by the Shiloh, a mysterious race of beings that no one has ever seen.
Following a lead to the source of the Virility Gene's manufacture Hook stumbles upon the secret of the Shiloh...that they are, in fact, the Boosted Men. Genetically engineered supermen with a single goal in mind...complete domination of the Economic Corporations that run the Universe.
And Hook's old enemies...for he is half Boosted Man himself.

Thankyou for the reply, and thanks to everyone who read my question and it gave it a thought. But as usual my memory played tricks and the name was Sheol.
Had a flash of inspiration on the bus going to work this morning. It was "Voice of the Whirlwind" by Walter Jon Williams

Jaqhama, you know I should have got that reference, being a big fan of Ken bulmer's.  But I'm the biggest fan of his Dray Prescot series.  That series was definitely an inlfluence on my Taleran books.
