What I do remember is this: The book was set on a spaceship but you were not aware of that at first. The principle character is a savage moving through jungles - he hunts, and explores his surroundings. I believe he is part of a tribe and their are other tribes. This is their world and it is all they know. I believe he loses his way or questions strange things that he cannot explain. He, and all the others on board, does not know that he is really on a spaceship that has been traveling for a very long time. Something had went wrong in the long journey and many generations had passed. Plants and animals had spread throughout their "world". I believe the ending finds them at their destination and the ship splits up into sections. This is really all I can remember. The book was not very thick and the copy I had 25-30 years ago looked old. I would love to find a copy of this and re-read it. If only I could remember the the title and author. | | Back to Top | | |
